As we age the effects of gravity become more noticeable on our faces, the supporting tissue of the cheeks weakens and starts to sag, facial fat is lost, the jaw line that used to be firm and tight forms jowls at the edges of the mouth that drift down towards the chin, and the lower face and neck sag. Traditionally, the tendency for sagging would lead most people to a cosmetic surgeon in search of a facelift; however, there is now a less invasive procedure available which can lift, contour and suspend the sagging tissues of the face, neck and body in those people who need only little to moderate rejuvenation.
Thread lifting is a procedure which involves elevating various parts of the face and body using specially designed threads without having to make incisions as during the conventional face lift. Besides lifting, threads improve skin tone, texture, colour and hydration.
The procedure involves inserting threads into the soft tissues which are then pulled tight, lifting the skin. As a result, the face is redefined, volume restored & the effects of ageing are significantly reduced. The threads can be both non-absorbable and absorbable. As absorbable threads dissolve naturally, the skin starts to produce more collagen and elastin which gives a longer-lasting result. The threads are inserted without incision in the skin, so the procedure is totally safe.

Am I a canditate?
Suitable candidates are those who have:

Where can I have thread lifts?
Thread lifts can be used to treat a number of different areas, from smoothing horizontal and vertical forehead wrinkles to lifting the brow and outer eyebrow area and restoring volume to sagging cheeks. They can also smooth lines around the mouth and tighten sagging skin under the lower jaw, lift and rejuvenate various parts of the body.
When will I see results?
Results are evident immediately after the procedure and can last from 1,5 to 5 years, depending on the thread composition
Can threads be removed?
Threads will naturally decompose within the skin and vanish approximately after six months, resulting in the formation of natural collagen in their stead. In the event that removal of a thread becomes necessary, it can be accomplished through a minor incision in the skin utilizing a needle.
Is it painful?
We use local anaesthetic to numb the area before the treatment. Making the treatment painless and as comfortable as possible.
