Despite efforts to lose fat through diet and exercise, certain areas of the body can have resistant pockets of fat.
Commonly these can be the arms (bingo wings), flanks (love handles), the abdomen and the thighs. Whilst diet and exercise does contribute to this, so can other factors such as genetics, stress and some medications. Addressing the underlying cause is always the best option, however if this hasn’t worked there may be appropriate surgical and non-surgical options to consider.
Surgical removal of fat is commonly performed by liposuction. Mr West is one of the few surgeons in the UK who can offer Vaser liposuction. If there is excess skin to then this may need to be addressed with skin tightening such as Renuvion, or by surgically removing the loose skin.
