3. Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust
Mr West is a full time consultant plastic and reconstructive surgeon within the NHS and is based at Leeds General Infirmary. His main clinical interests are sarcoma surgery, microsurgery and reconstruction of complex lower limb defects. He is a core member of the regional multidisciplinary team who manage a rare type of cancer called sarcoma.
He is also a consultant plastic surgeon at the major trauma centre at Leeds General Infirmary providing reconstructive surgery to severely injured patients. Mr West is the training lead for plastic surgery at Leeds Teaching Hospitals. He is also the director of the advanced training fellowship programme.
