Mr. Deemesh Oudit is a highly experienced and fully qualified plastic, aesthetic, and reconstructive surgeon. He is on the GMC specialist register for Plastic Surgery and is a Full Member of the British Association of Plastic, Aesthetic and Reconstructive surgeons (BAPRAS).

Mr. Oudit currently holds an NHS Consultant Post at the internationally renowned Christie Hospital in Manchester. He has held this post for over 13 years. He is the Clinical Lead for the Department of Plastic Surgery at the Christie Hospital. He has also been appointed as an Honorary Senior Lecturer at the University of Manchester and is active in Teaching and Research in the field of Plastic Surgery. He is the Research Lead for the Skin Cancer Pathway Board – Manchester Cancer.

Mr Deemesh Oudit graduated from medical school in 1996 and then spent five years obtaining a wealth of experience in a variety of surgical specialties such as general surgery, neurosurgery, and thoracic surgery before embarking onto a career in Plastic Surgery including cosmetic and aesthetic procedures and now has a vast experience of over 20 years in Plastic Surgery.

Mr. Deemesh Oudit was appointed a Member of the Royal College of Surgeons in 2002 and subsequently became a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons (Plastic Surgery) in 2010. He has contributed significantly to plastic surgery literature with well over 30 publications in top plastic surgery journals. He has presented papers at national and international meetings and have also been invited to speak at national and international meetings.

He has many external interests, being a director of Surgicalillustration.com Limited, a surgical education company and is the author of a plastic surgery textbook, ‘Local Flaps in Plastic Surgery’ as well as 2 other books.

Mr. Deemesh Oudit has also developed an Apple AppStore App for teaching plastic surgical trainees the art and science of local flaps, a fundamental technique used in plastic surgery.

Mr Oudit was very thorough throughout the whole process and was very truthful when explaining the process of the surgery as well the recovery.   I felt very comfortable with Mr Oudit right from the start.  I explained my problems to him and he was very informative about how he would perform my surgery.  I saw him before I had my surgery and I felt really at ease.  The pain after my procedures, revision abdominoplasty and thigh lift, was only painful when moving about, even then not too bad.  The pain went away gradually over the next week until it was barely noticeable.  Overall I would say it was very little considering the amount of surgery I had.  I felt cared for all through my surgery and after care.  Mr Oudit is a very caring person.  I would highly recommend him to friends.  I am really happy with the results.  I had to have a revision because of the mess made by a previous Surgeon, and Mr Oudit has done a wonderful job.  I can’t praise him highly enough.

  I made a decision to have my left ear pinned back because it was very prominent. I made an approach to the local BMI hospital and was given an appointment to consult with Mr Deemish. He explained the procedure to me and I left the consultation happy and confident that he would do a great job. Two weeks after the consultation I had the opertation. The operation was performed under a local anaesthetic, I did not feel anything apart from the injection. My ear was dressed and my head wrapped in a bandage, I had to keep this one for one week. I had mild pain and discomfort but was able to control that with paracetamol. When the nurse removed the bandage and dressing to reveal the result I was amazed and delighted with the result. It is now three weeks since the operation and I have no pain or discomfort. My ear looks "normal" and I am really pleased. Thank you Mr Oudit.
